I have been a London based graphic designer for over 30 years creating some of the most recognisable brands in the UK.
I am currently Creative Director for ORT UK, an educational charity that is part of the ORT network that empowers young people through education and vocational training in over 40 countries around the world.
I was Head Of Creative Design at Everyman Cinemas, a design led premium cinema experience which had been growing exponentially over the eleven years I worked there, with the expansion of 26 new venues during which time I was integral in shaping the now iconic brand through creative design.
I have contracted for digital design agencies as Lead Design on a number of digital projects including the Netflix Queue website. Working closely with developers and project managers. Also working with small businesses and startups creating branding and marketing across all areas of design in print and digital.
Managing teams of designers, commissioning illustrators and motion graphic artists, producing, styling, casting and directing on film sets, working closely with creative and marketing agencies and art directing photo shoots. I am just as comfortable designing for print as well as project managing large digital innovating projects seeing briefs through from initial concept to completion. I am still very much a hands on designer, highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite & Figma and passionate about all areas of design.
I have worked within large companies and small businesses as well as freelancing within many areas in the creative industries. I'm used to working to demanding deadlines whilst being driven, passionate, enthusiastic and always put everything into each piece of work with a keen eye for detail.
Setting up a social enterprise called The Treehouse At Number Nine has been a hugely rewarding and passionate achievement for me. This is a vibrant series of illustrated stories and content created for children with genetic differences that is inclusive, fun and colourful and has become a resource for charities, schools & families. We have two published books, a website, an app and a vibrant social media presence.
I have established strong working relationships with suppliers, agencies and printers and am an enthusiastic and driven creative. I hope you enjoy my work.
